Pamela R. Springer Announced as 2025 ASCP Industry Icon

Associated Skin Care Professionals (ASCP) is excited to announce Pamela R. Springer as the recipient of the second annual ASCP Industry Icon Award. The award, which is part of the annual ASCP Skin Deep Readers’ Choice Awards, honors a distinguished leader in the professional skin care industry who has made significant contributions through their work.  

 

Pamela R. Springer has spent decades in the professional skin care industry. She’s a licensed esthetician, an esthetics instructor, the author of two books, an ASCP Skin Deep contributor, and the founder of both Global Skin Solutions and The Skin & Makeup Institute of Arizona. Her curriculum at Global Skin Solutions is rooted in ethno-dermatology and evidence-based modalities, equipping providers with the knowledge and cultural sensitivity needed to confidently treat pigmented skin. Springer offers personal consultations and advanced training designed to equip estheticians with the tools to serve every client with excellence and respect. 

 

Springer’s books, Don’t Be Left in the Dark: Learn How to Master Chemical Peels and More... and The Dark Side of Aesthetics: Hyperpigmentation, Chemical Peels, and Complications, serve as foundational resources for estheticians seeking advanced knowledge in pigmentation disorders and clinical treatment protocols. 

 

Springer was announced as the winner at the ASCP Skin Deep Readers’ Choice Awards party during IECSC Las Vegas on June 22, 2025. In her acceptance speech, Springer thanked the individuals who have helped her along her journey: Florence Barrett-Hill, Patti Biro, Isabel Calleros, Kris Campbell, Morag Currin, Rebecca Gadberry, Mary Keller, Yvonne Rose, and Dr. Toni Stockton.
