Elleebana: The Korean Lash Life Method
How It Works
This technique starts by placing a flat silicone shield above the lash line. Step 1 is applied near the base and mixed with a viscosity controller to prevent slipping and to hold the lashes in place as they soften upward.
Gently lift the lashes onto the flat shield and coat them from root to tip. Be consistent during the wrapping, especially with coarse lashes that may need extra time and precision. Apply cling film to maintain pressure and enhance the softening process. This upward-softening approach is ideal for clients with downward-growing lashes because it helps relax and stretch the lash structure.
Midway through processing, gently comb the lashes to stretch, align, and assess softness. For fine or wispy tips, remove excess solution to avoid overprocessing.
Continue flex checking until the lashes are soft and no longer bounce back. Then, remove Step 1 and the flat shield. Replace the flat shield with your curved shield and begin wrapping the softened lashes upward. They should now hold shape with ease. Apply Step 2—also with a viscosity controller—to set the new curl.
This method creates defined, long-lasting results and simplifies the process of wrapping resistant lashes—but it requires precise product control and an understanding of lash textures for best results.
