Esthetician licensure in the state of Texas is regulated by the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation - Cosmetology. To become a licensed skin care professional, Texas requires completion of a licensed esthetics program consisting of 750 hours of training and successfully passing the written and practical examinations for esthetician licensure.
