As you may be aware, the Arizona Barbering and Cosmetology Board (Board) recently issued proposed eyelash technician rules that outline curriculum and training requirements, fees, sanitation processes, and more. To get caught up or sneak in a refresher, read our full summary of the rules here.
ASCP was recently in touch with the Board and received some positive updates. The deadline for commentary has been extended beyond September 24. We encourage you to elevate your voice and email the Board at azboard@bcb.az.gov between October 2 through October 31 to show your support of, or opposition to, the proposed rules.
Wait, it gets better. The grandparenting period has been extended beyond April 3, 2023. Anyone who received eyelash extension training before October 30, 2023, and who can demonstrate their training, is eligible for an eyelash technician registration.
