Skin Care School Forum Sessions

CBD—What, Why, and How?

CBD is all the rage—it can be found in just about everything, and that includes skin care products. It is not legal everywhere, although the number of states embracing it is growing. This session, on Day One of our 2020 ASCP Skin Care School Forum, aims to answer some of the important questions relevant to schools that are interested in learning more about implementing CBD-infused skin care products into their schools.

•  How would it affect your federal funding?

•  Is it worth all the hype?                                                                      Register today!

• How do you get started?

The session includes two parts:

Part 1: A discussion with one of the foremost legal experts in the budding CBD skin care field, Chelsie Spencer, principal at Ritter Spencer, PLLC., in Dallas, Texas. Chelsie practices in the areas of medical marijuana, cannabidiol, and industrial hemp, and represents clients within those industries for business law and compliance issues.

Part 2: A four-member expert panel, including Chelsie Spencer, will discuss multiple facets of incorporating CBD-infused skin care products into an esthetics program, such as base-level scientific data and firsthand experience from school owners who have implemented CBD-infused skin care products into current programs. Panelists will be revealed soon—stay tuned.

This is just one of many sessions we’ll be offering at the 2020 ASCP Skin Care School Forum in Denver, Colorado, June 7–8, 2020.
