Virginia Introduces Esthetics Licensure Compact

Fresh towels? Check. Serums stocked? Check. A multistate esthetics license that lets you work across state lines . . . Almost. Imagine being able to move or travel for work without long licensing delays or gaps in income. That’s what House Bill 1247 (HB 1247) could make possible. 

The Virginia legislature introduced the Esthetics Licensure Compact (Compact)—a multistate licensing pathway designed to improve mobility, reduce red tape, and expand access to esthetics services across state lines.
