Esthetician licensure in the state of Kentucky is regulated by the Kentucky Board of Cosmetology. To become a licensed skin care professional, Kentucky requires completion of a licensed esthetics program consisting of 1,000 hours of training and successfully passing the written and practical examinations for esthetician licensure.
