Esthetician licensure in the state of Maryland is regulated by the Maryland Board of Cosmetologists. To become a licensed skin care professional, Maryland requires completion of a licensed esthetics program consisting of 600 hours of training and successfully passing the written and practical examinations for esthetician licensure.
